Do you know Sundar Pichai ? A Proud story every Indian must read this

Before 15^th August there was another proud day for Indian’s in the year 2015. Yes it was the day when Google surprised all Indians and An Indian made us proud by getting appointed as the next CEO of Google Inc.

Sundar Pichai was born in Chennai on 12^th July 1972 in a middle class family where luxury was out of sight and out of mind. His father was a down to earth electrical engineer in a British multinational GCE.

Sundar Pichai was the caption of the cricket team during his school times. He was amazed to saw a mobile-phone first a device that can even store contact numbers. Pichai was good in studies and get his degree from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur in Metallurgical Engineering then he did his M.S. from Stanford University in Material Sciences and Engineering and his MBA from Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

In his previous job’s Sundar Pichai worked as engineering and product management at Applied Materials and as management consulting at McKinsey & Company before he joined Google.

Sundar Pichai joined Google in 2004 and worked on the toolbar. Google noticed an increase in the user search which finally led them towards the start of Google Chrome, Google’s own Browser. Pichai was the responsible person for Google’s Chrome OS and browser’s success. By 2012 he became VP of Chrome and Apps.

Sundar Pichai achieved quick changes after 2013. He became responsible for smooth tie up with partners like Samsung. He also added android to Google product oversees on 13^th march 2013. He also headed Jive Software from April 2011 until 30 July 2013.

Google Appointed Sundar Pichai on 10^th August 2015. He stepped into this new position after completion of the formation of Alphabet Inc., the new holding company for Google family.
